I'm Sanna and studying to become a software developer at
LAB University of Applied Sciences in Lappeenranta .

I will become a Bachelor of Business with specialization in Modern Web Techologies (Digitradenomi)
and
my goal is to graduate on December 2021.

About Me

I'm a geek and I love it!

On my spare time I play and collect board games. I own over 100 different games. Just pick a game and let's play! I do know my games!
I am a very good to assimilate rules and explaining them to others no matter of their skill level.

I also play games with pc and xbox. I like open world action role- playing games like Skyrim and Witcher and on pc I usually play strategy games like Civilization. I like to develop my character or civilization in best way possible while enjoying a good game.

I'm on my best when I organise events. I get others excited to participate and to do things they otherwise just think that it would be fun to do.

I love nature, trees and hiking. In the future my goal is to visit all the Finnish national parks. My personal highlight on this field(so far) is, when me and my husband hiked 55km from Hetta to Pallas few years ago. That's one of the many hiking routes in Northern Finland. And btw background image is taken from Orrainpolku- hiking route which is my favourite place near home.

I'm a visual person. I do handcrafts and cosplay costumes. By creating things with my hands sewing, CODING, cooking, renovating, what ever, it makes me feel relaxed and I become inspired by the progress.

I'm a good cook. I like to explore new recipes and combine those in my head and create one awesome recipe. That's actually how I work with all of my ideas. I see this net of possibilities in my head, I visualize it and then I figure out how to proceed.

Skills

I'm a last year student and my studies covers the Full Stack Developer methods.

Even though I'm still a novice what comes to developing,
I would say that my strongest know- how and interest lies in Front End Development,
but I do like to use the whole scale. Let alone Robotic process automation or mobile app developing.
All of my programming courses have been graded very good or excellent.

Also, since my degree programme is under a Business program, 1/3 our studies includes courses
such as marketing, digital marketing, business knowledge, accounting ect.
I have also taken some courses about human resources.

On my spare time I've been doing Uipath courses and Mimmit koodaa -program workshops and Java class from The University of Helsinki (MOOC).

My customer service and project management skills are very outstanding. Since in my past career I designed and sold kitchens and bathrooms and their assembles over a ten years.

During my studies I have given birth to two kids. That has affected on my studies a bit, so I will be graduating one year later ( ONLY ) than my classmates. With two small kids the spare time to do coding has been limited, but it hasn't affected on my enthusiasm towards my new future in IT field.

My family is now full and I am keen to change my focus toward professional development.

Teamwork. App gives you commands and hints how to handle everyday tasks. Customer work.

Wellbeing app

Teamwork. App asks questions about everyday tasks such as:" Do you think that you can handle your money errands? There are three answers to choose from and depending on answer app gives you feedback and if necessary app recomends that you should contact someone who can help you. App is part of the LAB Naapurit -project, that wanted to improve lives of people with intellectual disability.
